I decided building a guitar kit would be a good way to develop some of the basic skills needed for wood working. Pictured is the StewMac Mini T Telecaster style guitar kit. Jennifer Hampe generously invited me over to her shop to work on the guitar. I'll continue to post my progress here.

Practice cut made on scrap wood using the Emco band saw and then shaped with a file. My cut isn't perfect, but it's a start. I'll be doing more practice cuts before I cut the headstock.
