Test Guitars (4)

Created on: 10 Sep 2020
A group of 3 guitars, using sister tops and everything else identical. Except the back/sides. This is a test to see what sonic contribution back and sides actually make. One is mahogany, one is maple, one is rosewood. The tops are all Sitka, and when you see them you will recognize the identical grain.
  • Koa rosettes, curly maple bindings.
  • Fine b/w zipper as back strips: Indian rosewood, Birdseye maple, Honduran mahogany.
  • End grafts of Koa, cut from the same blank as the rosettes.
  • Here are the mahogany/maple/Wenge necks. All identical. The neck to far left is for a different guitar.
